We are seeking a motivated and reliable Duty Manager to support the Operations Manager across two sites. This is a key leadership role with strong responsibility for health and safety, site operations, and team supervision, alongside active duty management and lifeguarding duties.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as Duty Manager during operational hours, ensuring the safe, efficient, and professional running of the facility
- Support the Operations Manager with day-to-day operational tasks and wider business objectives
- Hold and operate in the role of Site Safety Coordinator, taking responsibility for health and safety compliance
- Carry out daily, monthly, and annual health and safety checks, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up to date
- Be actively involved in internal and external audits, including preparation, participation, and follow-up actions
- Maintain high standards of customer service, safety, and cleanliness across both sites
- Work as a Duty Manager/Lifeguard, responding to incidents and supervising activities as required
- Assist with staff supervision, training, and adherence to company policies and procedures
- Support emergency procedures and incident reporting across both locations
Key Requirements
- Relevant Duty Manager experience
- Site Safety Coordinator qualification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong understanding of health and safety legislation and best practice
- Ability to work flexibly across two sites
- Strong communication, leadership, and organisational skills
- Proactive, reliable, and detail-oriented approach
Must be willing to hold an NPLQ qualification which all training will be supplied
