Hours: 6–14 hours per week initially

Location: Drayton Community Sports Club, Betton Road
Drayton Community Gym is a friendly, community-based gym within a multi-sport club serving Market Drayton and the surrounding area. We are expanding our fitness, wellbeing and class programme and are looking for a motivated and people-focused Personal Trainer & Group Exercise Instructor to join our team.
This role suits a PT who enjoys working with a wide range of members — from beginners and older adults through to regular gym users — and who is happy to combine coaching, front-desk support and class delivery.
The Role
You will help members get the most out of the gym while supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the facility.
Gym & Front Desk
- Manning the gym reception desk during allocated shifts
- Welcoming members and visitors in a friendly, professional manner
- Signing in members and handling basic enquiries
- Keeping the gym tidy, safe and well presented
- Supporting a friendly, inclusive and motivating gym environment
Member Inductions
- Carrying out gym inductions for new members
- Explaining safe and effective use of all equipment
- Creating simple starter programmes
- Helping members feel confident and supported
Personal Training
- Delivering one-to-one personal training sessions
- Running small-group PT sessions
- Supporting members with technique, motivation and progression
Classes & Group Sessions
You will deliver and help grow a wide programme of classes, which may include:

You will have scope to introduce new classes based on your own skills and interests.
Required Qualifications
You must have:
- Level 3 Personal Training qualification (or equivalent)
- At least two additional specialisms, for example:
- Pilates
- Yoga
- Strength &conditioning
- Mobility & Rehabilitation
- Sports Performance
- Functional Training
- Current first aid and Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain)

Hours & Earning Potential
- Initial hours: 6–14hours per week (desk cover, inductions and classes)
- Strong potential for increased hours as the gym grows

Pay: £12.92-£20.00 per hour
