About the role:
We’re looking for a Fitness Coach who’s passionate about supporting member wellbeing and helping people achieve their goals. This role is hands on and people focused, so being proactive, approachable and confident communicating with members is key. You’ll also deliver our children’s sessions!
On the gym floor, you’ll build positive, professional relationships, offering guidance, motivation and support to our diverse member community. You’ll also deliver a range of scheduled group exercise classes, bringing energy and enthusiasm to every session.
It’s a varied role, fast paced at times, and really rewarding if you enjoy making a difference.
This position requires a Level 2 Gym Instructor (CIMPSPA recognised).
What does the role involve?
- We are looking for either a full time or 2 part time (20 hours) fitness coach - pay in relation to age
- To conduct inductions and fitness assessments with members, and prescribe safe and effective exercise programmes
- To provide a presence on the gym floor and be available at all times to assist members with their exercise programmes and ensure that they are using the equipment correctly
- To deliver class programmes, teach at least one or two classes whilst on shift (including kids classes) and take programmes for children as appropriate
- To help maintain all fitness equipment and assist in the maintenance of cleaning equipment and the gym floor
- This position is subject to a DBS check
