Role Purpose:
To provide essential support to the finance team by ensuring accurate and timely processing of financial transactions, maintaining supplier and customer accounts, and assisting with month-end close activities. This role is key to maintaining strong financial controls and supporting the management accounting function
Key Responsibilities:
Accounts Payable Supplier Account Management
- Post supplier invoices promptly and accurately.
- Perform supplier statement reconciliations to ensure all balances are correct.
- Review and resolve any debit balances on supplier accounts.
- Prepare and execute regular supplier payment runs.
Credit Card Management
- Collate credit card receipts and match them against statements for accuracy.
- Chase overdue receipts and resolve any payment discrepancies.
Accounts Receivable Account Management
- Generate and issue sales ledger invoices in a timely manner.
- Manage customer accounts, including monitoring outstanding balances.
- Chase overdue debts and resolve any payment discrepancies.
Employee Expenses Management
- Collate approved expenses and post them into general ledger ensuring accuracy.
- Chase overdue receipts and resolve any payment discrepancies.
- Prepare and execute monthly employee expense payment runs
Month-End Support
- Assist management accountants with month-end close processes, including reconciliations and journal postings.
