Job Description

The Weekend Health & Fitness Coach role is important in helping King's Sport & Wellness deliver its range of services to all members in our gyms. You will work closely with the Health & Fitness Managers to ensure that members are given a world class experience at the gym reception and when delivering classes, programmes and inductions.

The role is for fixed weekend cover: SATURDAYS 09:45-18:15.

Experience / Skills

Ability to deliver a range of fitness classes, inductions and programmes that ensure our members are engaged and educated in fitness and their physical wellbeing. 

Ability to monitor and coach gym members to ensure their safety and the use of correct techniques when exercising therefore providing quality member experiences. 

Assist in the operational systems and processes of managing health and fitness memberships and services and ensure all card transactions are accurately reported.

Ensure all operating policies are adhered to whilst in the gyms - being responsible for the opening and closing procedures and ensuring all equipment and the building operates within Health & Safety guidelines as required.

Ability to provide an exceptional level of customer service through phone, email, and face-to-face interactions as well as signpost to other services

Qualifications

Essential:

Level 2 Fitness Instructor Qualification

First Aid Qualification

Desirable:

Level 3 Personal Training Qualification

Spin/Group Cycle Qualification

Boxercise Qualification

Any other group exercise qualifications

Health & Safety Considerations

The successful candidate must achieve and maintain a high level of cleaning and maintenance in accordance with King?s Sport & Wellness high standards. There may be periods of time where they are the only staff member on site, so they must undertake incident management training (delivered by line manager) and be prepared to practise First Aid if necessary.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 7.5 per week
