Summary
We are seeking a Recreation Assistant to join our dynamic team at Everyone Active. In this role, you will play a vital part in encouraging community participation in physical activities while ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for all members. Your contributions will directly support our mission of promoting health and fitness.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning and delivery of recreational activities for all age groups.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of participants during activities.
- Provide first aid assistance when necessary and maintain a safe environment.
- Communicate effectively with members to promote engagement and participation.
- Support compliance with health and safety regulations within the facility.
- Help maintain equipment and facilities to ensure they are clean and functional.
Requirements
- Current First Aid certification is essential.
- Strong communication skills to interact with diverse groups.
- Experience in recreational or leisure settings is preferred but not required.
- Understanding of compliance management related to health and safety is a plus.
