General Assistant / Cleaner
2 x Part-Time Vacancies:
11 hours per week and 16 hours per week
This is an outstanding career opportunity with a not for profit charitable organisation committed to providing a diverse and meaningful range of leisure and culture related activities for the local communities in which we serve.
A position has arisen to join the team as a Part-Time General Assistant/Cleaner here at Penarth Leisure Centre.
The Opportunity
Reporting directly to the Duty Managers, the successful candidate will be flexible, reliable, possess good communication skills and enjoy working as part of a team.
You will be contracted with us for either 16 hours or 11 hours per week and must have a customer-focused approach.
Your main duties will include various cleaning tasks around the facility. You may also be required to assist with the set up/set down of our sports hall activities.
Shift times will include day/evenings and weekends.
The Person
The successful candidate should Ideally have previous knowledge of the leisure industry and experience of working in a busy wet/dry facility.
Excellent communication skills, flexibility and a commitment to customer service are essential.
You will be a team player, and self motivated with a willingness to learn.
