Job Overview:
Maintenance Associates are responsible for the cleanliness and upkeep of the gym and play a key part in creating a great place to work – and workout – for both your team and members. Our Maintenance Associates are often seen zipping around the club with a vacuum strapped to their back, re-racking weights and ensuring the bathroom is spotless. We don’t know what we would do without them!
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the sidewalk, entrance, front porch and all training areas are impeccably clean
- Clean the reception areas and offices to the Company’s standard of excellence
- Stock locker rooms with all necessary supplies and ensure they are clean
- Make sure all fitness areas are clean, presentable, and that equipment is operating properly
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of what constitutes a clean environment
- Ability to identify dirty areas; eye for cleanliness
- Able to lift and move gym equipment weighing 15-20 lbs frequently and 45 lbs occasionally
- Experience in handling and using cleaning products
- Ability to organize and keep all areas orderly
- Work independently with minimal supervision
- Work with hand tools and cleaning equipment
- Act with a sense of urgency
- Excellent verbal communication skills
