Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Fitness Manager to lead our fitness team and oversee the daily operations of our fitness facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for health and fitness, and the ability to create an engaging environment for both staff and members. The Fitness Manager will be responsible for driving membership sales, managing staff, and ensuring that all fitness programmes meet the highest standards of quality.

Duties

Lead and supervise the fitness team, providing guidance and support to ensure exceptional service delivery.
Develop and implement fitness programmes that cater to a diverse clientele, promoting health and wellness.
Manage day-to-day operations of the fitness facility, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and compliance with health regulations.
Drive membership sales through effective marketing strategies and exceptional customer service.
Conduct regular training sessions for staff to enhance their skills in customer engagement, programme delivery, and safety protocols.
Maintain accurate records of member progress, attendance, and feedback to continually improve services offered.
Foster a positive community atmosphere within the facility by organising events and challenges that encourage member participation.
Utilise time management skills to effectively balance administrative tasks with hands-on leadership duties.

Requirements

Proven experience in a leadership role within the fitness industry or a related field.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on phone etiquette when interacting with members.
Ability to sell fitness programmes effectively while demonstrating strong interpersonal skills.
Experience in supervising teams and managing staff performance.
Administrative proficiency in managing schedules, budgets, and reports is essential.
