Job Opportunity: Fitness Manager

Location: Overstone Park Resort

Contract: Full-Time, 40 hours per week (Including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays)

The Role

Overstone Park Resort is seeking a proactive, community-focused Fitness Manager. We aren’t just looking for an administrator; we need a leader who can recruit top-tier talent, drive membership growth through social media, and further a genuine sense of community within the club.

Key Responsibilities

Instructor Recruitment & Talent: Proactively find and recruit high-quality studio instructors who can deliver high-demand classes and keep our members inspired.
Studio & Timetable Management: Expertly manage and evolve the studio timetable. You must understand the "flow" of a successful studio, ensuring a diverse mix of classes that meet member demand.
Community & Membership Growth: Work closely with the membership team to bring in new members. You will be expected to use social media creatively to promote the club’s facilities, classes, and success stories.
Team Leadership: Manage and mentor the gym team. You will be responsible for rotas, performance, and ensuring the team "leads by example" in every interaction.
High Standards & Inductions: Maintain "gold standard" cleanliness across the gym floor and studios. You will personally deliver professional member inductions to ensure every newcomer feels part of the Overstone Park community.
Operational Rota: A 40-hour week that reflects our members' peak times, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.

Requirements

Gym Management Experience: Essential. Proven experience in running a gym team or fitness facility.
Studio Savvy: Experience in managing complex studio timetables and coordinating a diverse group of instructors.
Digital Savvy: Confident in using social media platforms to market the club and engage with the community.
People Person: A natural ability to build relationships with members and "headhunt" the best instructors in the area.
Organisational Excellence: A keen eye for detail regarding health and safety, cleaning schedules, and equipment maintenance
