Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Pilates Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in fitness and wellness, with a focus on teaching Pilates techniques to individuals of varying skill levels. This role requires an understanding of anatomy and the ability to coach effectively, ensuring that all participants receive a safe and beneficial workout experience.

Responsibilities

Conduct engaging Pilates classes for groups and individuals, adapting sessions to meet the needs of participants.
Provide clear instructions and demonstrations of exercises, ensuring proper form and technique are maintained.
Assess clients’ fitness levels and tailor programmes accordingly to promote progress and improvement.
Maintain a supportive and motivating environment that encourages clients to achieve their fitness goals.
Stay updated on the latest Pilates trends, techniques, and best practices to enhance teaching methods.
Ensure all equipment is clean, safe, and well-maintained before and after classes.
Foster strong relationships with clients, providing feedback and encouragement throughout their fitness journey.

Requirements

Previous experience in teaching is highly desirable.
Strong knowledge of anatomy as it relates to movement and exercise.
Certification in Pilates instruction from a recognised institution is preferred.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
A commitment to personal fitness and wellness, demonstrating a healthy lifestyle.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends as required by class schedules.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 2 – 10 per week
